Star of 'The Inhabited Island' makes suicide attempt

Vasily Stepanov, star of the film The Inhabited Island, admitted that he attempted suicide. The actor deliberately jumped from the window of his fifth-floor apartment, rather than falling accidentally, as had been previously assumed. This is confirmed by witnesses to the tragedy.

By a stroke of luck, the artist survived. As a result of the fall from such a height, he suffered fractures of the pelvis, shoulder, and heel bones, as well as numerous bruises. However, the actor's spine was not damaged.

Apparently, Vasily was driven to take such a step by his lack of demand in the film industry. Although he recently received several offers, the actor had to cancel filming due to his injury.
