Sergey Penkin seriously injured

Famous singer Sergey Penkin was seriously injured after falling on the steps outside his home in the centre of the Russian capital.

The injury was caused by ice on the steps, which the local caretaker had not bothered to clear. Following the fall, the artist stayed at home for several days, not realising the severity of his condition. However, he was soon forced to seek medical attention as the pain in his leg became unbearable.

After an X-ray examination, Penkin had a cast applied to his leg. Doctors diagnosed a fracture. The performer is currently moving around with a cane but has no intention of cancelling his scheduled concerts.
